Bright Ideas Trust

Bright Ideas Trust was established in 2007 by Tim Campbell MBE, the first winner of BBC’s The Apprentice and our Chair is Dr. Margaret Mountford.

Bright Ideas Trust is a charity that helps young people who haven’t had the same chances as the rest of society to start their own business.

Since it began, we have helped thousands of young people, many from disadvantaged backgrounds, to start and run their own business and understand how business works.

Our support covers all aspects of starting a business and is delivered by experienced business people who have been there, done that and want to pass on their knowledge and experience.

As well as support, mentoring and training, we also help you to secure start-up finance.

Skills Route

Each year 150,000 AS level exams are failed and 40,000 students drop out of school. Outcomes for many young people after GCSEs are stark. Perhaps they picked the wrong course or institution or maybe they didn’t think carefully enough about their decision.

We’ve created Skills Route to help young people making important decisions at the age of 14 to 16. We want Skills Route to help them explore and compare before they decide. Skills Route is the first post-16 portal to bring together all the options for young people side by side. Our innovative technology helps them understand the options, consider the implications of their actions and explore their future career path.

Young Citizens (Formerly Citizenship Foundation)

We help them to understand the law, politics and democratic life. We promote participation, we help teachers to teach citizenship and we work with young people on issues that concern them.

We want society to be fairer, more inclusive and more cohesive.

We want a democracy in which everyone has the knowledge, skills, and confidence to take part as effective citizens.

InnerI is for you if your FOCUS is on being the best you can be.

In essence we will act both as provider of educative and motivational workshops as well as being able to consult on workshop structure or/and direct organisations to other educators we have access to (like a consultant). We specialise in the area of Youth Development / Self-Improvement.

We will link organisations with quality facilitators to engage or re-engage learners.

We inspire people to achieve their potential in a supportable way through a variety of methods & materials. These can range from workshops; coaching sessions for small groups; assessment tools & techniques and 1-2-1s.

InnerI for young people will be about developing and inspiring their best personal performance (youth development). InnerI for all will be about the above and in addition focusing on professional and workplace performance potential.

MLMS is a national, non-partisan, youth-led movement on a mission to secure a better Brexit for young people and to evolve relationships between young people and decision-makers.

Our Mission is to help young people to experience new places, new people and new skills. Our ambition is to support the creation of self-confident, motivated and engaged young people from different parts of London who break down negative perceptions of other areas, actively and progressively represent their community and grow as positive leaders.

My Bnk

Their experts bring a range of workshops covering topics such as budgeting, tax, debt intervention, university finance and social enterprise to 7-25 year olds in schools and youth organisations.

MyBnk has helped over 175,000 young people manage their money and start their own enterprise with 800 partner organisations. They recently won The Guardian Charity Award, and the Children & Young People Now Leaving Care Award. MyBnk’s projects are proven and evaluated by the national Money Advice Service.

Compass Mentoring Group

In school support

We come into schools and provide mentoring support to students. Working through tailored plans, students are able to work towards both long term & short term goals.

Activity days

During mentoring, students are taken on an activity day aimed at push them out of their comfort zones.

Our mentoring program will put the young learners in a position where they will be able to understand the importance of a solid educational foundation and the value of setting regular goals.

Future First Global

We work with governments, schools, teachers and NGOs to support the growth of high school alumni networks globally, in order to make sure students are learning skills and gaining experience that will enable them to get a job.

The Childhood Trust

The Childhood Trust is a charity founded with a simple vision: to support vulnerable children living in poverty in London.

Our work is focused on alleviating the impact of child poverty in London. London children are much more likely to live in poor households than children in the rest of England – 37% versus 26% and are less likely to be able to afford everyday items than those elsewhere in the country. 55% of poor children in London are materially deprived compared to 44% in the rest of England. 60% of London children in low income families do not have a week’s holiday away from home. The Successful Failure

The Successful Failure is a platform that curates the journeys of influential individuals /organisations and tells it from an honest and unique perspective; how have they been able to use their failures in order to become successful.

We believe that it even though it is painful, jarring and practically unwanted; there are a lot of lessons that can be learnt from the whole process. Lessons that can be the difference between success and failure!

2 - 3 Degrees

We are a training company that inspires and equips young people with the power to make positive decisions. Through talks and workshops we build the confidence of young people to take practical steps towards achieving their goals.

Juvenis

Juvenis is an exciting new charity offering bespoke support and training enabling young people who are having difficulties at school, at home or in the community to turn around their lives and (re)engage with employment, education or training.

We work with young people aged 8-19, or up to 25 with learning difficulties or disabilities.

London Youth

London Youth supports a network of diverse community youth organisations where young people choose to go.

With unique reach to thousands of young Londoners, we deliver programmes with and through this network across London and out of town at our two residential centres.

Student Development Co.

The Student Development Co. CIC (The SDC) is a non-profit organisation which aims to provide career related support and advice to 16-24 year olds who are or have recently finished studying.
