The One Degree Team

The One Degree Team is made up of volunteer mentors, former students, teachers, education specialists and sector professionals, who co-ordinate with schools, students, parents and volunteers to deliver high quality mentoring for GCSE students via our purpose-built and innovative online mentoring platform.

Since 2009 One Degree has been supporting disadvantaged and underperforming GCSE students through personalised mentoring, targeted teaching and flexible online and in-person academic support. Our dedication to personalised support has helped students improve their GCSE performance by up to 40%. This educational boost not only opens professional doors for our students, but increases self-confidence, ultimately changing their life direction. Read more about our story here.

English Teacher and Education Consultant

Rachel re-joins our team for our 2016/2017 programme as our Maths Lead Teacher. Prior to the last programme, which she missed while on sabbatical, she brings with her a host of One Degree and teaching experience.

Maths Teacher and Education Consultant

Heena joined us in December 2016. She is a teacher at Orley Farm School and previously Uxbridge High School and St. Joan of Arc School. She will be running our English sessions at Westminster Academy.
