Saturday, 9th June was our final session of the 2017/18 programme. Thank you so much to all of you – mentors, tutors, teachers, interns, alumni, and supporters near and afar. Even if all you did was read our newsletters each month – thank you!

To our 97 mentors who participated from anything from one to 15 sessions helping us acheive a record number of logged mentor hours this year – your impact cannot be understated and even though it cannot always be immediately felt it does make a tremendous difference. We truly are SO VERY GRATEFUL!

This year’s mentor award winners (with prizes) were:

Mentors voted, students voted and One Degree staff voted…and here are the results:

  • Best English Mentor Award – Toby
  • Best Maths Mentor Award – Liz
  • Most Committed Mentors (most sessions attended) – Rashmi and Kari
  • Mentor of the Year (sessions attended and votes received) – Florent 

And, a big thanks to Ade Ife Tokan who got voted as guest speaker of the year.
