Ex England and Liverpool footballer, John Barnes, joined One Degree on the 29th January 2022 to talk about his inspiration, his background, taking opportunities, racial bias, injustices, inequalities and education.

His talk, which lasted 50 minutes and included a series of questions from students and mentors, was inspiring for both fans and our new era of students alike.

This England and Liverpool national treasure followed his talk by posing for some photographs and of course signing some autographs.
