Another tough year for schools, students and One Degree. Students started their year knowing that GCSE grades would drop across the board in the Summer of 2023 following the inflated COVID grades of 2021-2022.
We are pleased to release our results from this year. These results are being audited into a full final report with more stats, but for now please see the below:
*The first % indicates the entry point % total that the students were on. This is gathered from a combination of predicted and teacher-assessed grades.
**The second % is the final grade total
English Language 48% ➜ 70%
English Literature 37% ➜ 82%
Maths 45% ➜ 74%
Total passes 44% ➜ 75%
National average 67.8%
Considering everything students have been through since 2020 – this is no easy feat! Plus with the Department of Education levelling up grades in an attempt to get grades back to 2019 levels, this is exceptional!
Very proud of all the students, mentors and teachers who made this happen!
Congratulations One Degree cohort of 2023!
