This year’s campaign hosts our biggest target yet = £19k. If we hit this then combined with pledges and Big Give matching will bring us a total of £38k. See campaign page here.

Summary of Key Points – myonedegree.org/biggive:

  1. No Self-Donations: Charities cannot donate to their own campaign from their charity account.
  2. Matched Donations via BigGive.org: Only donations made through your campaign page on the Big Give website (using debit/credit cards) between midday 3rd–10th December will be matched.
  3. Accepted Payment Methods: Donations must be via debit/credit card, Apple/Google Pay, or BACS. Offline methods (e.g., cheques, CAF payments) are not eligible for match funding.
  4. BACS Donations: For donations of £500+, donors can use BACS (with a registered Big Give account) if they prefer, but transfers must arrive before the campaign ends to qualify for matching.
  5. 30-Minute Match Window: Donors have 30 minutes to complete their donation for matching. After this, they can donate unmatched or restart (match availability is not guaranteed).
  6. Donation Doubling Order: Donations are first matched by Pledge funds, then by Champion funds, until both are exhausted or the campaign ends.
  7. Pledgers Cannot Donate: Pledgers cannot donate to your campaign during the live campaign but can donate to other charities. Refunds will be issued for any pledger donations.
  8. Donation Limits: Minimum donation is £1; maximum is £25,000.
  9. Timing for Large Donations: Encourage major donors to donate a few hours before the campaign ends to avoid last-minute issues.
